Missing Link is the preferred provider to develop and manage a Crisis House for women with mental health needs in Bristol.

We are working in partnership with survivors groups, Bristol Primary Care Trust and Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Trust to make this project a reality. The Crisis House Steering Group is a sub group of the Local Mental Health Implementation Team and together we will be designing and fundraising for this exciting new development in Bristol.

The service will support women who are in crisis and unable to manage in the community. The Crisis House will be an alternative to hospit al and will provide a safe environment to give women a space to talk about how they are feeling, form a crisis plan and take advant age of alternative therapies such as counselling and self help groups.

The majority of people who self harm repeatedly are women.
